Directions:
In a large glass or microwave save bowl, spray with non stick spray. Add sugar, syrup, water and salt. Cook on high for 20-22 minutes. Remove and stir well half way thru cooking time. Beat egg whites till stiff. Gradually pour in hot syrup while beating egg whites. Beat till the candy loses its gloss. I have had to beat it for as much as 12 minutes before. Some may lose its gloss sooner. I think its how fast it actually cools. Fold in nuts and drop by tablespoons full on wax paper. It usually takes two people to drop the candy fast before it sets up. This is kinda a fun candy for two people to make. FINGER LICKIN GOOD!!!
(Mr cooker usually slowly pours the hot syrup on the eggs for me while I beat them. You pour a slow stream of syrup as you do this. Don't add it all at once. The bowl will be very hot so make sure you use hot pad or a towel.)
