Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients:

4 eggs, beaten very well
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups sugar
4 cups half and half
2 tbsp vanilla
6 cups whole milk
Directions:

   Use electric mixer to heat eggs until very light; add sugar gradually to the eggs; beat until thick. Add salt and vanilla and half and half. Mix thoroughly. Pour into freezer and add milk. Freeze. Makes one gallon.
